CBAT Attends To 14th Agroexpo International Agriculture and Livestock Fair

One of Turkey’s largest trade fair Agroexpo 14th International Agriculture and Livestock Fair was held in Izmir between 7-10 February 2019.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir PAKDEMİRLİ as well as the Ministry bureaucrats, Izmir Governor Erol AYYILDIZ, Ministers of countries participating in the exhibition, Deputy Ministers, Ambassadors, Izmir Metropolitan Deputy Mayor Sırrı AYDOĞAN, President of Cattle Breeders’ Association of Turkey Kamil ÖZCAN, Accountant Member Mehmet ALDEMİR, Board Members Serhat VAYISOĞLU, Hacı SELVİ and Hasan Hüseyin ÖZDEMİR, Members of the Supervisory Board, Mehmet Sedat GÜNGÖR and Ahmet KIRLIOĞLU, Secretary General İbrahim KARAKOYUNLU, Technical Affairs Manager Onur YİĞİT, producers, farmers, other sector representatives attended.

Provential Association representatives Presidents visited the stand of Cattle Breeders’ Association of Turkey . During the exhibition, participants were given information about CBA as well as CBAT’s activities and products were distributed. In addition, future cooperation opportunities with the representatives of other countries were discussed.

Representatives from several countries attended the fair. The Ministers of the seven countries discussed the problems, solutions and future of the sector. Various seminars were organized with topics such as technological farms, sustainable agriculture, and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture. Tractor launches, agricultural machinery innovation presentations, dairy farming, sheep, goat and cattle breeds were introduced. Various activities such as “sheep goat beauty contest” , “yoghurt eating contest”, “young farmers competing quiz contest”, “heavy cattle competition” were organized to increase interest in the fair.
2 thousand 500 companies from around 70 countries participated in the fair, new agricultural and livestock technologies were introduced.
